We are looking for a candidate with good financial experience (on Bonds, Fixed Income, Ratings).

Remote / USA

We seek a talented and driven Data Analyst with 6-10 years of experience, advanced SQL skills, and beginner-level Python proficiency to join our team. The role involves manipulating and analyzing data, collaborating with the business to understand needs, and translating these into technical solutions. The candidate should be capable of data wrangling, generating insights, and presenting findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Data Analysis & Reporting: Write and optimize complex SQL queries, experience with Starburst and distributed SQL engines, and use Python for data wrangling and analysis.
2. Data Wrangling & Processing: Automate tasks with Python, handle datasets, and prepare data for analysis or reporting.
3. Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as liaison between business and technical teams, gather requirements, and present insights.
4. Technical Documentation: Maintain clear documentation of data structures, processes, and reports.
5. Data Integrity & Quality: Ensure data accuracy and resolve quality issues.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 10 years in a data-related role (e.g., Data Analyst, BI Analyst, Data Engineer).
• Advanced SQL skills, experience with relational databases and distributed SQL engines.
• Beginner-level Python proficiency.
• Experience with AWS cloud infrastructure.
• Proven stakeholder engagement skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Work experience in Bond Ratings is a plus.
