Position Description

This role requires someone in Pittsburgh, PA.

The ideal candidate will have experience in business analysis and data analysis, with a can-do attitude, passion for technology, and data analysis expertise. They will serve as a techno-functional expert in a development project involving distributed teams.

Your future duties and responsibilities

1. Perform requirements gathering with business stakeholders, including creating deliverables.
2. Conduct detailed research and analysis to identify solution alternatives.
3. Create user stories, data flow diagrams, and process maps to guide system design and development.
4. Collaborate with the development team to refine, estimate, and track user stories to completion.
5. Work with Product Owners, Subject Matter Experts, and Technical Managers to develop solutions that meet organizational needs.
6. Perform data analysis using SQL.
7. Analyze data to validate business domains and requirements.
8. Develop source-to-target mappings.
9. Act as a conduit between business subject matter experts and technical teams to ensure requirements are understood.

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

• Minimum 8+ years of experience in Business and Data analysis.
• Experience in the Finance/Banking industry (preferred).
• Strong, hands-on experience in Data Analysis using Oracle SQL.
• Proficiency in data analysis, report generation, and presenting data visually.
• Exposure to regulations such as BASEL II & BASEL III is a plus.
• Experience with agile methodologies, writing user stories, test plans, scripts, and using JIRA.
• Experience with Business Process Modeling, including Swim-Lane diagrams, process flow diagrams, and Workflow diagrams using MS Visio.
• Understanding of application, process, and data movement/data warehouse concepts.
• Experience developing source-to-target mapping documents, Excel reports, project plans, and schedules using MS Project and TFS.
• Ability to develop activity diagrams for gap-fit analysis of business processes.
• Strong documentation skills.

CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role, which is approximately $88,200 - $173,500 in the U.S.
