Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a skilled Supply Chain professional to coordinate initiatives across assigned facilities. You’ll partner with clinical and non-clinical teams and leadership to drive product purchases, substitutions, and new product evaluations within PHC policies.

Candidate experience includes purchasing activities and a healthcare setting is preferred. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience is required, with several years in supply chain roles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized college or university Required
• In lieu of degree equivalent experience equal to four (4) years’ experience beyond the minimum experience Required
• 2 years of responsible work experience involving purchasing activities or a closely related field Required
• In lieu of degree If no Bachelors degree, six (6) years of experience involving purchasing/supply chain activities Required
• Experience in a healthcare setting Preferred
• Licenses and Certifications: None Required

Responsabilités

• Coordinate Supply Chain initiatives for assigned facilities by partnering with clinical and non-clinical professionals at all levels of entity leadership.
• Act as a liaison with site leadership and sales representatives by facilitating strategic discussions and product and equipment investigations and evaluations.
• Establish and maintain effective working relationship with customers and vendors to address policies, awareness of product needs, product research and verification of contract prior to product purchase.
• Collaborate with Supply Chain Strategic Sourcing and STARS teams regarding product substitutions and conversions, as well as supporting customer requests for new products.
• Coordinate the set up and education of new facilities and / or facility moves and changes in PeopleSoft and facilitate customer education to ensure compliance with PHC policies and procedures.
