Job summary

Asbury Automotive Group is seeking a Finance Assistant to support the Finance staff in packaging, funding, and dispersing deals in compliance with Federal and State regulations.

You will work with Finance Managers and the accounting office to process deals accurately and timely, ensuring proper documentation and regulatory adherence. Prior dealership experience is a plus, and a high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in deal processing.
• Familiarity with lending and regulatory guidelines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with Finance Managers and accounting office to ensure prompt and ethical processing of all deals.
• Meticulously review all deals for errors, imperfections, or miscalculations to ensure accurate processing.
• Process deals daily and report development to management.
• Fax, email, and mail documents for funding and record retention.
• Help ensure all customer contracts in transition are funded within 10 days.
• Maintain impeccable reputation with lenders as you fund deals.
• Adhere to all local and national regulations.
• Understand tag and title laws; DMV.

The Finance Assistant's primary responsibility is to support our Finance staff (new & used) in correctly packaging, funding, and dispersing deals to meet all Federal and State regulations.

• Work directly with FinanceManagers and accounting office to ensure prompt and ethical processing ofall deals
• Meticulously review all dealsfor errors, imperfections, or miscalculations to ensure that they are processed accurately and timely
• Daily process deals and report development to management
• Fax, email, and mail documentsas needed for funding and record retention
• Help with ensuring all customer contracts in transition (CIT list) is funded within 10 days max
• Maintain impeccable reputationwith lenders as you work with them and the Finance Manager to fund deals
• Adhere to all local andnational regulations
• Prior compliance, banking, orlending experience preferred
• Advanced computer skills(Internet, MS Outlook, Dealertrack, ADP)
• Must understand lending andregulatory guidelines
• Works with service department to ensure after-market products are properly processed and delivered
• Deal with local and nationalbankers
• Understand tag and title laws;DMV
• Have a niche for detail and advanced organizational skills
• Must be eighteen years of age
• High school diploma
• Prior dealership experience preferred, sales, receptionist, A/P, Internet sales consultant, clerk’s, etc.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment screening (background and drug test)
