Babcock International is seeking a Business Continuity Manager to lead resilience across Naval Nuclear. You will shape and deliver operational resilience, continuity, crisis management and emergency response, influencing stakeholders and ensuring robust frameworks are in place.

You will test plans, run exercises and reporting, building strong relationships to embed resilience across the business while navigating security clearance requirements and complex organizational structures.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified or equivalent professional experience in resilience, continuity, risk or related discipline.
• Experience leading resilience or continuity programmes in a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of business impact assessments, resilience risk assessments, crisis management and recovery planning.
• Ability to develop governance, assurance and reporting frameworks.
• Experience designing resilience exercises and training initiatives.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and delivery of the Operational Resilience and Business Continuity framework for Naval Nuclear.
• Provide expert guidance on resilience, continuity, crisis and emergency management activities.
• Develop, test and maintain continuity and recovery plans to respond to disruption.
• Deliver resilience exercises, training, assurance activities and governance reporting.
• Build relationships with stakeholders to align resilience with business objectives.
• Support governance and reporting through established frameworks.

The Role As a Business Continuity Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of operational resilience, business continuity, crisis management, and emergency response arrangements across Naval Nuclear. You'll act as a trusted subject matter expert, influencing stakeholders across the business and ensuring robust resilience frameworks are in place, tested, and continuously improved. Your work will directly support operational readiness and long-term business success.

• Lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the Operational Resilience and Business Continuity framework across the Naval Nuclear business.
• Provide expert advice and guidance on operational resilience, business continuity, crisis management and emergency management activities.
• Develop, maintain and test business continuity, recovery and resilience plans to ensure the business can respond effectively to disruption.
• Deliver resilience exercises, training programmes, assurance activities and governance reporting to drive a culture of preparedness and continuous improvement.
• Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure resilience requirements are understood, embedded and aligned with business objectives.
• Experience leading operational resilience or business continuity programmes within a complex organisation.
• Strong knowledge of business impact assessments, resilience risk assessments, crisis management and recovery planning.
• Experience developing governance, assurance and reporting frameworks.

Qualifications

• Experience developing governance, assurance and reporting frameworks.
• Experience designing and facilitating resilience exercises and training initiatives.
• Strong communication, leadership, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
• Security Clearance The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
