Job description

At Petra Coach, we believe that businesses grow when their people grow—both personally and professionally. As a global coaching organization, our mission is to help leaders and their teams scale effectively, unlocking their full potential. In doing so, we aim to positively impact 10+ million lives.

We Drive Companies and Teams to Reveal their Unrealized Potential.
Our Values Drive Everything We Do:

There is No Try - Only Do!

We don’t make excuses–we make progress. We look at each challenge as a new level of growth that only makes each of us better. Nothing is left undone here, we finish what we start, and we do what we say–we don’t try. We also believe that language is important, and you won’t catch us using the word TRY in any context.

No one is in it for himself or herself. We sacrifice for one another to achieve more than we can alone, and we never seek reward for any of it. All of us will at one time or another will find ourselves in a spot that we truly need another team member and by living this value we always ‘know’ that a team member will be there.

Please & Thank You - Say and Mean It!

We recognize the power of appreciation and being nice. We say ‘please’ when asking and say ‘Thank You’ when it’s deserved–which is often. We use handwritten notes and the spoken word to express these basic levels of respect. We ‘seek out’ moments that team members perform in a way that we can recognize them, and we act on them.

Everything is an Experience - Every Time!

We make each interaction an experience. We ask ourselves–How can we add an extra 15% on top of what we have already done that would make someone say ‘wow, that was an experience’–‘that was more than I expected’–‘I want to do this again’ and then tell others about it. With one another, with our members, with our vendors and even with the mail carrier. Everything is an experience to be remembered and remarked about.

See Around the Curves - Anticipate Needs and “Pre”fill Them!

A big part of work involves us seeing what is coming before it arrives. In planning sessions with teams, in traveling via planes, trains and automobiles and as importantly with one another. Far before the moment arrives, we think through what's coming and work to be prepared at a level most would consider unreasonable. By doing this we are uber prepared and gain the ability to respond with more agility than everyone else. We pay ultra-attention to what is being said and what is not being said in every interaction to ‘see’ what is coming next.

Be Curious - Ask Why & Improve!

We never feel like we know everything and have arrived. We never accept things as they are. We seek constant improvement in ourselves, in those around us, in our process, in everything. We ask, ‘Why does it need to be done this way’ and seek ways to improve. We never stop as we know when we do–it’s over.

Be a Barnabas – An Ironman with a Squishy Heart.

We work hard, harder than everyone else. We are supportive of those around us, regardless of the return. We never make it about us, always about others. We carry ourselves in a bold and humble manner, bold because we do the work needed and humble because we know just how difficult this life truly is.

Is this you?
  • Have you built and grown a business, successfully exiting or stepping into new opportunities?
  • Do you have experience with structured business growth systems like the Rockefeller Habits, DiSC, TopGrading, or similar frameworks?
  • Are you a lifelong learner, always seeking new insights through books, courses, and experiences?
  • Do you find fulfillment in helping others succeed and celebrating their wins?
  • Can you quickly identify business challenges and offer direct, constructive feedback to help leaders improve?
  • Are you comfortable working within a proven system, collaborating closely with a team while maintaining your own autonomy?
  • Do you have the financial stability to invest in building a coaching practice that will generate long-term, meaningful income?
  • Do you understand key business fundamentals across people, strategy, execution, and cash flow?
  • Are you tech-savvy, or at least willing to dive in and learn new tools as needed?
  • Do you have a strong executive presence, able to inspire and engage others in meaningful discussions?
  • Thrive on in-person communication and look forward to traveling across North America to drive impact.

If you answered “yes” to these questions, you are who we’re looking for.

What You Will Be Doing (Among Other Things...)
  • Becoming a Certified Petra Coach through an intensive onboarding and training process.
  • Learning, applying, and guiding organizations to drive sustainable growth.
  • Partnering with leadership teams to assess business needs and align strategy with priorities.
  • Providing ongoing strategy meetings to ensure accountability and progress.
  • Engaging in sales conversations with prospective members and leveraging your own network to identify coaching opportunities.
  • Supporting companies with 15-500 employees, $5M-$50M+ in revenue, who are committed to scaling with intention.
  • Traveling to work directly with members, facilitating planning sessions, mostly in person across North America.
  • Leading workshops, webinars, and seminars on key business topics.
  • Contributing thought leadership through social posts, podcasts, workshops, articles, and speaking engagements to establish yourself as an expert in your field.
  • Focusing on coaching and impact—Petra provides marketing, operations, and back-office support so you can concentrate on your members.

A Petra Coach typically earns between $200,000 – $500,000 annually by year three. This role requires an investment of time and resources upfront. Success in this role comes with dedication, but the long-term rewards are substantial.
