Job summary

Turnkey Technologies is seeking a Business Central Supply Chain Functional Consultant to help clients turn purchasing, inventory, warehouse, order fulfillment, and related operations into dependable processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

You will work directly with client teams to understand how goods and information move through their business and design solutions they can use with confidence. Remote within the United States; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Five+ years as a functional consultant implementing or supporting Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Experience translating business requirements into ERP configuration and clear documentation.
• Strong facilitation, communication, and client-service skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead discovery workshops for procurement, inventory, sales order processing, warehousing, and planning processes.
• Configure supply chain functionality and document process flows and requirements.
• Collaborate on integrations, extensions, and third-party solutions as needed.
• Plan and validate data migration for items, vendors, customers, and inventory.
• Create end-to-end test scenarios and support UAT, training, cutover, and post-launch support.
• Coordinate with finance and project managers to align workflows and reporting.

Job description

Turnkey Technologies is seeking a Business Central Supply Chain Functional Consultant to help clients turn purchasing, inventory, warehouse, order fulfillment, and related operations into dependable processes in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will work directly with client teams to understand how goods and information move through their business and design solutions they can use with confidence. This role reports to the Operations Manager. It is remote within the United States; client or company travel, including overnight travel, may be required.

What you will do

• Lead discovery workshops for procurement, inventory, sales order processing, warehousing, and planning processes.
• Configure Business Central supply chain functionality and document process flows, configuration choices, and functional requirements.
• Evaluate fit with standard functionality and collaborate with technical teams on integrations, extensions, and third-party solutions when needed.
• Help plan and validate item, vendor, customer, and inventory data migration.
• Create end-to-end test scenarios with client users and support user acceptance testing, training, cutover, and post-launch support.
• Coordinate with finance consultants and project managers so operational workflows, inventory valuation, and reporting needs stay aligned.
• Manage multiple concurrent client assignments, maintain clear functional documentation, and promptly raise risks, assumptions, dependencies, and scope concerns to project leadership.
• Contribute supply chain expertise to scoping or estimation when requested and share client feedback and improvement opportunities with the account team.

What you bring

• More than five years of experience as a functional consultant, including hands-on work implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Practical knowledge of purchasing, inventory control, order fulfillment, and warehouse processes.
• Experience translating business requirements into ERP configuration and clear functional documentation.
• Confidence facilitating workshops, resolving issues, and working with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong communication, organization, and client-service skills.
• Ability to meet Turnkey's 70% minimum billable utilization expectation while maintaining quality across assignments.

Helpful experience

• Manufacturing, distribution, demand planning, or advanced warehouse experience.
• Microsoft partner or consulting experience; relevant Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with barcoding, EDI, shipping, e-commerce, or other supply chain integrations.
