Turnkey Technologies, Inc. is seeking a client-facing Business Central Functional Consultant with a strong finance focus to help customers implement and optimize Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will connect accounting requirements to practical system design and guide clients from discovery through go-live and ongoing improvement.

Qualifications

• Five+ years as a functional consultant implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and how finance teams use ERP systems.
• Experience gathering requirements, configuring solutions, documenting decisions, and supporting testing and training.

Responsabilités

• Lead finance discovery sessions and document current processes, requirements, and decisions.
• Configure and advise on Business Central finance capabilities (GL, AR/AP, cash and bank management, financial reporting, budgeting, fixed assets).
• Map requirements to standard functionality and write functional specs when extensions are needed.
• Collaborate with solution architects, developers, PMs, and client stakeholders on design, data migration, testing, and issue resolution.
• Validate migrated finance data and reconcile opening balances with client stakeholders.
• Lead finance-focused test scenarios and support training, go-live, and post-launch stabilization.
• Manage multiple assignments and maintain clear functional documentation.

We are looking for a client-facing Business Central Functional Consultant with a strong finance focus to help customers implement and improve Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. You will connect accounting requirements to practical system design and guide clients from discovery through go-live and ongoing improvement. This role reports to the Operations Manager. It is remote within the United States; client or company travel, including overnight travel, may be required.

What you will do

• Lead finance discovery sessions and document current processes, requirements, and decisions.
• Configure and advise on Business Central finance capabilities, including general ledger, dimensions, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash and bank management, financial reporting, budgeting, and fixed assets as relevant to each client.
• Map requirements to standard functionality, explain tradeoffs, and write clear functional specifications when extensions or integrations are needed.
• Partner with solution architects, developers, project managers, and client stakeholders on design, data migration, testing, and issue resolution.
• Validate migrated finance data and reconcile opening balances and key account balances with client stakeholders.
• Lead finance-focused test scenarios and user acceptance testing; support training, cutover, go-live, and post-launch stabilization.
• Manage multiple concurrent client assignments, maintain clear functional documentation, and promptly raise risks, assumptions, dependencies, and scope concerns to project leadership.
• Contribute finance expertise to scoping or estimation when requested and share client feedback and improvement opportunities with the account team.
• Build trusted client relationships through clear communication, follow-through, and practical recommendations.

What you bring

• More than five years of experience as a functional consultant, including hands-on work implementing or supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and how finance teams use ERP systems.
• Experience gathering requirements, configuring solutions, documenting decisions, and supporting testing and training.
• Ability to explain complex system behavior to business users and collaborate with technical teammates.
• Sound judgment, organized delivery, and a service-minded approach to client work.
• Ability to meet Turnkey's 70% minimum billable utilization expectation while maintaining quality across assignments.

Helpful experience

• Five or more years directly implementing Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
• Consulting or Microsoft partner experience; finance-related Microsoft certifications.
• Experience with reporting, integrations, or transitions from legacy ERP systems.
