Job summary

Carriage Services in Houston, TX is seeking a Business Central Architect to design, develop, and implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central solutions. You will lead multi-project deployments, map integrations with third-party systems, and serve as SME to the team.

This full-time, in-office role offers $140,000+ compensation, with a hybrid schedule (4 days in office, 1 day remote) depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Dynamics NAV or Dynamics Business Central as a solution architect/developer.
• Hands-on Business Central development (AL language) and system integration.
• Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems and data migration.
• Understanding of integrating various business systems, APIs, and security considerations.

Responsibilities

• Lead the solution design, configuration, and deployment of multiple D365 BC projects.
• Architect and map complex integrations with third-party systems.
• Resolve technical challenges and propose pragmatic solutions meeting end-user needs.
• Participate in client-facing status updates with senior management.
• Support and maintain the existing D365 environment (customizations and integrations).
• Act as SME to assist team members with system issues.
• Build deployment pipelines ensuring releases are tested before production.

We are looking for a Business Central Architect to develop, design and implement functional solutions for Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Compensation: $140,000+ (Depends on Experience)

Job Type: Full time (In office 4 days +1 day from home) *No agency or 3rd Party

Location: 3040 Post Oak Blvd. Houston Tx (Galleria Area) Must be located in Houston, TX

Duties

• Lead the solution design, configuration, and deployment of simultaneous projects for D365 BC
• Architect and configure complex solutions within D365 BC which may also include designing and mapping integrations with third party systems
• Investigate and resolve technical challenges that arise and propose feasible solutions that meet and exceed end user expectations
• Participate in client-facing status update meetings with senior management
• Support existing D365 system environment (customizations and integrations)
• Be available to team members as an SME to assist with any technical issues they face with the system
• Build deployment pipelines to ensure all releases are updated and tested in lower environments prior to production release

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience working with Dynamics NAV or Dynamics Business Central as a solution architect/developer
• Hands-on experience in Business Central development (AL language) and system integration
• Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems
• Solid understanding of how to integrate various business systems
• Excellent verbal & written skills
• Knowledgeable in ADO
• Proficiency in Microsoft ecosystem tools: Power BI, Power Automate, Azure Logic Apps, Dataverse, and API frameworks
• Excellent understanding of data migration, performance optimization, and security within Business Central
