Business Central Technical Architect

Design, develop, manage, and implement Business Central solutions while staying current with Dynamics 365 platforms, development standards, and supporting technologies such as the Power Platform.

What You’ll Do

• Stay current on Dynamics 365 platforms, development standards and supporting technologies such as the Power Platform
• Design, develop, manage, and implement Business Central solutions
• Identify needed training for the development team members to ensure team delivery aligns with the most current trends
• Document standards and processes for development team members to adhere to
• Assist with closing technically complex deals
• Provide high‑level estimates as needed to assist with the closing of new sales
• Provide overall technical oversight to technically complex Dynamics 365 projects
• Break technically complex deliverables into manageable chunks to facilitate the development team’s delivery
• Ensure the overall vision laid out by the functional team is adhered to across all development components
• Lead and coordinate development efforts that cross multiple Dynamics 365 platforms
• Bridge the gap between the functional team and development team members where necessary
• Provide indirect mentoring to development team members via code reviews and identifying process deviations

What You’ll Bring

• 5+ years designing and implementing Business Central, including Finance and Supply Chain
• 7+ years of Dynamics 365 Development experience
• Experience as a NAV Architect (a plus)
• Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle
• Strong understanding of Application Lifecycle Management
• Possess a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge of Microsoft technologies (Azure DevOps, Power Platform)
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to quality, self‑motivation, and a desire to succeed
• Possess a professional presence suitable for direct client interaction by telephone or in‑person
