Capaxrm is seeking a hands-on Business Central Analyst in Minneapolis, MN, to own ERP support and participate in ongoing improvements. You will work with Finance, Manufacturing, Production, Inventory and Warehousing, performing troubleshooting, data analysis, and reporting with SQL and ERP data relations.

The role involves system configuration, testing and user training, with future Business Central implementations on the horizon. Hybrid work is available in a manufacturing environment.

We're hiring a Business Central Analyst for an established manufacturing business in the Minneapolis area that's investing in its Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central environment.

This is an opportunity for someone with hands-on Business Central or NAV experience to join a small internal IT team, take ownership of technical ERP support and get involved in ongoing system improvements and future implementations.

The business is looking for someone who enjoys investigating problems, working with underlying ERP data and understanding how different areas of the system interact, rather than focusing solely on functional consulting or development.

About the role

You'll work closely with an experienced ERP Manager, supporting Business Central across Finance, Accounting, Manufacturing, Production, Inventory and Warehousing.

This is a hands-on position combining ERP troubleshooting, SQL, reporting, system configuration and user support.

You'll investigate issues, understand how transactions flow through the system and work directly with business users to resolve problems or coordinate more complex changes with external technical resources.

You'll also have the opportunity to support future Business Central implementations, including testing, process improvements, documentation and user training.

What you'll be doing

• Providing hands-on Business Central support and troubleshooting across Finance, Manufacturing, Production and Warehousing
• Investigating ERP issues, identifying root causes and resolving problems directly where possible
• Using SQL queries and ERP data relationships to investigate transactions, troubleshoot issues and support reporting
• Understanding how transactions flow between Warehousing, Production, Inventory and the General Ledger
• Supporting EDI integrations, including troubleshooting and coordination with external partners
• Working with JET Analytics, Power BI and SSRS to support reporting and data analysis
• Supporting ERP configuration, testing, documentation and system improvements
• Working directly with business users to understand issues and implement practical solutions
• Supporting future Business Central implementations, including user training, testing and process changes

What we're looking for

• Hands-on experience supporting Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV
• Strong understanding of SQL, ERP data structures and relationships between tables
• Experience troubleshooting ERP issues beyond basic end-user support
• Knowledge of Manufacturing, Production, Inventory, Warehousing or Finance processes
• Understanding of how operational transactions affect financial data and the General Ledger
• EDI experience, ideally within manufacturing or distribution
• Experience with JET Analytics, Power BI, SSRS or similar reporting tools would be beneficial
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills
