Job summary

Talently is seeking an ERP Analyst to maintain and optimize a Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Business Central environment onsite at our Rosemont/Aurora, Illinois operations. You will collaborate with accounting, operations, IT, and project teams to support migration to Dynamics 365 Business Central and ensure system reliability.

The role covers end-user support across core financial and operational modules, system upgrades, data migrations, and user training to improve adoption and process consistency.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of hands-on Dynamics 365 Business Central experience with troubleshooting and user support.
• Knowledge of Dynamics NAV and customized NAV/BC environments.
• Familiarity with financial, operational, and job costing modules.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and customer-focused problem-solving.
• Clear written and verbal communication for cross-team collaboration.
• Background in accounting or business administration or related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day end-user support across GL, job costing, field service, purchasing, payables, receivables, inventory, and payroll.
• Troubleshoot ERP issues in NAV and Business Central.
• Support accounting closes and reporting cycles on a weekly/monthly/quarterly/yearly basis.
• Analyze, document, and resolve ERP issues, coordinating with business users and IT.
• Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of system upgrades and integrations.
• Create user documentation and deliver training to improve adoption and consistency.
• Assist ERP onboarding for acquisitions, including data migration and configuration.
• Collaborate with IT, accounting, operations, and project teams to improve processes.

This onsite opportunity will help maintain a Microsoft Dynamics NAV environment while supporting migration to Dynamics 365 Business Central. Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day end-user support across general ledger, job costing, field service, purchasing, payables, receivables, inventory, and payroll modules.
• Troubleshoot functional and technical issues in Microsoft Dynamics NAV and Business Central.
• Support weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close and reporting cycles.
• Analyze, document, and resolve ERP issues, coordinating with business users and technical teams to identify root causes.
• Participate in testing, validation, and rollout of system upgrades, integrations, and enhancements.
• Create user documentation and deliver training to improve adoption and process consistency.
• Support ERP onboarding for acquisitions, including data migration, system configuration, and end-user training.
• Collaborate with IT, accounting, operations, and project management teams to improve system reliability and processes.

Must-Have Skills:

• Four or more years of hands-on Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central experience, including troubleshooting and user support.
• Practical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV and customized NAV or Business Central environments.
• Working understanding of financial, operational, and job costing modules.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams.
• Background in accounting, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV versions 3.x-2009.
• Experience with Project Pro and Payroll NOW by Integrity Data, or Serenic/Sylogist Payroll.
• Proficiency with Object Designer.
• Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Business Central certifications.
• Experience supporting ERP upgrades, integrations, data migrations, and acquisition onboarding.
