We are looking for a Business Center Manager with strong commercial lending and credit experience within the Middle Market to provide top-notch customer service to our clients and customers in our Wilshire-San Vincente Branch in Los Angeles, CA. This role focuses on overseeing, leading, and directing a banking branch with regards to sales, operations, and corporate/regulatory compliance to meet assigned lending, deposit, and fee income goals along with business and consumer lending.

Essential Functions:
  1. Oversees, leads, and directs a branch with regards to sales, operations, and corporate/regulatory compliance to meet assigned lending, deposit, and fee income goals.
  2. Responsible for staff management and development including performance evaluations, promotions, salary recommendations, and disciplinary action.
  3. Provides suitable credit, deposit, or other banking services as well as counsel and advice to best meet clients' needs.
  4. Develops programs to maximize branch profitability, minimize risk, and improve customer service and product knowledge.
  5. Responsible for acquiring, expanding, and maintaining client relationships through both inside and outside business development activities.
  6. Analyzes risks and profitability of assigned client portfolio to ensure ongoing profitability and conformity with credit terms.
  7. Responsible for ensuring the successful processing, underwriting, and approving of loans within assigned limits.
  8. Negotiates loan terms and conditions in accordance with bank policy.
Qualifications:
  1. Requires a Bachelor's in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and 6+ years of banking management and lending or other directly related experience. A combination of education and experience may meet requirements.
  2. Business Development experience preferred.
  3. Extensive knowledge of branch/banking management, operations, policies, procedures, banking products, and lending requirements as they relate to moderately complex loans and large branch operations.
  4. Strong working knowledge of business development and sales within the financial industry.
  5. Ability to make sound decisions, mitigate risk, build relationships, and work with a variety of clients, employees, and management.
  6. Strong working knowledge of banking laws and regulations.
  7. Strong problem resolution and communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong customer relationship skills.
  8. Ability to manage staff.
