Job Overview

We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Fitness Center Manager to manage a high-profile company’s fitness center located in Los Angeles, CA. You will oversee operations, staffing, revenue, expenses, and marketing, and support program promotion and staffing in collaboration with the Client Coordinator. You will act as a liaison between the Company and the Client, maintaining a high profile with your team and members.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the site’s atmosphere to motivate and engage staff and members.
  • Implement programs, marketing, and product capabilities for member engagement.
  • Manage human capital responsibilities, including hiring, coaching, training, evaluating, and terminating team members when necessary.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to member feedback and concerns, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Provide regular reports to leadership.
  • Ensure team delivers top-tier customer service and programming.
  • Encourage professional development and improve retention.
  • Follow policies and procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree with 2-3 years of management experience.
  • Strong multi-tasking, problem-solving, organizational, and follow-up skills.
  • Experience hiring, coaching, training, and developing team members.
  • Knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
  • Experience in a corporate fitness or spa setting preferred.
  • Current CPR/AED and First Aid certifications.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and payroll systems.
