Eastern Bank is seeking a seasoned sales and banking professional to build and manage a portfolio of small business customers in the Massachusetts area. You will sell bank products, partner with local branches for cross-sell opportunities, and nurture relationships with community partners to drive growth and profitability.

The role requires 5–8 years of sales/management experience, a solid understanding of commercial banking, and strong communication and networking skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of training and related experience required.
• Five-to-eight years of sales and management experience.
• Must have a basic understanding of commercial businesses and banking.
• Demonstrated basic knowledge of credit with some prior credit training and sales training.
• Strong communication skills (written and verbal); strong interpersonal and sales skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to utilize full range of prospecting sales activities; technologically proficient.
• Candidate must be able to attend networking and other events outside of customary business hours.
• Must be a self-starter and able to self generate sales prospects and pipeline.

Responsabilités

• Develop a portfolio of customers, prospects and Centers of Influence (COIs) through networking and other business development efforts.
• Sell bank products to new and existing customers.
• Partner with assigned branches for cross-sale opportunities and customer relationship management.
• Manage relationships externally with key Community Partners to leverage programs, tools and resources for BB customers' growth and profitability.
• Source, evaluate and recommend new BB banking opportunities for loan and deposit relationships (C&I and CRE).
• Manage a portfolio of BB clients to minimize risk, cross-sell, and ensure a positive customer experience.
• Coordinate calling and relationship management activities with multiple internal partners (commercials, investments, treasury, retail, insurance).
• Conduct preliminary underwriting and structure credit requests.
• Maintain internal Bank contact management system with full history.

Hiring Range: $77,510 - $127,338

The posted salary range reflects Eastern’s expected hiring range. Actual pay may vary based on experience, skills, and market factors; additional compensation may apply.
