Work Days and Hours

Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
(Additional hours as necessary to meet departmental objectives.)

Function

Assumes responsibility for developing banking relationships across all business lines within the assigned market and customer base, including prospective clients, to foster new business and retain existing accounts through product and service promotion.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Interview customers and prospects to gather information about their business needs, capabilities, and earnings for all business lines, including:
    • Collecting and analyzing financial data for proper account structuring.
    • Maintaining an active calling program for new and existing customers.
    • Assisting other Regional Managers in business generation.
    • Participating in community affairs to promote the bank's image.
  • Develop and maintain close working relationships with branch managers to generate new business opportunities.
  • Build and sustain a network of referral professionals, such as attorneys, realtors, and other influencers.
  • Call on new prospects from various sources, including referrals, courthouse lists, and prospect lists.
  • Engage in business development activities to identify potential clients.
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve issues effectively.
  • Foster positive relationships with bank employees, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Take on additional responsibilities as needed.
Physical Demands

Operate keypad devices (40%), electronic equipment (20%), and office equipment (10%). Travel approximately 30% of the time, including out-of-state inspections and meetings. Requires manual dexterity for typing and data entry, with specific vision requirements for close-up work. Accommodations available for individuals with disabilities.

Education

Requires a four-year college degree or equivalent, with specialization in Finance or Accounting.

Experience

Minimum of five years of specialized experience in credit and lending.
