Job summary

First Citizens Bank is seeking a Business Banker to grow and manage a portfolio of commercial relationships in the Jacksonville area. You will help clients meet their financial goals by offering loans, deposits, and cash-management solutions.

You will leverage local networks, participate in community events, and collaborate with credit partners to expedite loan approvals while achieving production targets and profitability objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 4+ years in commercial lending or business development.
• High school diploma or GED with 8+ years in commercial lending or related field.
• Proven financial analysis and credit underwriting skills.
• Experience developing COIs and referral sources.

As a Business Banker at First Citizens Bank you will carry on our tradition of developing and expanding relationships with business owners in your community to help them meet their financial goals.

Business Bankers are responsible for acquiring and managing a portfolio of business banking relationships, and the primary contact for borrowing needs up to $5MM. This associate engages bank partners to provide a full range of deposit and related business services. Larger relationships may be managed with manager approval and/or appropriate partner support. Develops and maintains an active prospect list, customer outreach plan and quality referral sources in accordance with a sales plan to achieve production goals and profitability objectives.

This position may be filled as a Business Banker II or III based on the skills and experience of the selected candidate.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Qualifications

Minimum Required Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree and 4 years' experience OR High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent and 8 years' experience in Commercial or business lending, credit or business development
