The Attorney will lead sophisticated transactions, manage key client relationships, and mentor attorneys in a dynamic corporate practice. The role requires seven or more years of experience in corporate law and M&A matters, with a deep understanding of governance, entity formation, and contract structures.

The Attorney will handle transactional matters including mergers, acquisitions, contracts, and other general business matters. This role offers the opportunity to lead sophisticated transactions, manage key client relationships, and mentor attorneys.

The primary responsibilities for this role include:

• Leading and managing mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other complex business transactions.
• Advising clients on corporate governance, entity formation, business structuring, shareholder matters, and strategic business initiatives.
• Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and overseeing transaction documents, including purchase agreements, operating agreements, financing documents, and ancillary transaction agreements and contracts.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have seven or more years of experience in corporate law and M&A matters. This position requires a deep understanding of corporate governance, business entities, commercial contracts, and transaction structures, as well as strong drafting, negotiation, analytical and problem solving skills.

The ideal candidate will exhibit strong writing, oral communication and analytical skills, and a passion for client service. They must be willing to collaborate with a team and work with internal and external clients, attorneys, and staff.

A partial portable book of business is required, with a demonstrated ability to generate and maintain client relationships.

The target hiring range for this position is $230,000 - $450,000 with additional year-end compensation at the company’s discretion. Please note that quoted salary ranges are not guarantees of what final salary offers may be. Base pay is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and geographic location.
