Job summary

RITS seeks a seasoned Business Analyst to analyze and document business requirements, translate them into functional and technical specifications, and collaborate with IT teams and architects. You will define processes, use cases, and user stories, while maintaining comprehensive documentation and supporting testing with Gherkin scenarios for REST APIs.

Fluency in German and English is required, with practical experience in AI/GenAI in business analysis or software engineering.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years as BA/Business Expert in IT-focused projects.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications with architects.
• Knowledge of modern architectures, esp. microservices.
• Hands-on Agile and testing: Gherkin scenarios and REST API testing.
• Experience using AI/GenAI in business analysis or software engineering.
• German and English proficiency (spoken and written).
• CMDM and DQM knowledge is a plus.

Analyzing and documenting business requirements and translating them into functional and technical specifications in collaboration with IT teams and architects. Defining processes, subprocesses, use cases, and user stories, and maintaining their ongoing documentation and management. Supporting testing processes, including preparing scenarios in Gherkin, testing REST APIs, handling test cases, and analyzing and handling defects. Collaborating with project teams using the Agile methodology, participating in reviews of work products, and ensuring the quality of delivered solutions. Identifying and implementing opportunities to use AI/GenAI to optimize business processes, requirements analysis, and activities related to software development and testing.

Требования

At least 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business Expert in projects with a strong IT focus. Experience in data analysis and management. Experience translating business requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with software architects, and knowledge of modern architectures, particularly microservices. Practical knowledge of Agile and testing experience, including creating scenarios/scripts in Gherkin and testing REST APIs using tools such as Bruno or REST Assured. Very good spoken and written German and English, and practical experience using AI/GenAI (e.g., ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, GitHub Copilot) in business analysis or software engineering.
