Job summary

BCforward is seeking a Business Analyst V to join our team supporting Fifth Third Bank's Vulnerability and Patch Automation Initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in patch management automation, vulnerability remediation, and applied AI/ML to drive risk reduction and measurable outcomes.

You will define product roadmaps, lead cross-functional delivery with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and engineering teams, and establish KPIs with executive-level reporting on

Qualifications

• 7+ years in technology engineering, cybersecurity, or related fields.
• Experience leading enterprise patch management and vulnerability remediation.
• Proven delivery of automation solutions within technology operations.
• Hands-on experience applying AI/ML to improve operational outcomes.
• Broad knowledge of endpoints, servers, networking, cloud platforms, and security tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the product roadmap for the Third-Party Remediation Pillar.
• Drive initiatives that shorten vulnerability remediation timelines and improve risk reduction.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities across patching and remediation workflows.
• Leverage AI and analytics to enhance prioritization, decision-making, testing, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with infrastructure, cybersecurity, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver enterprise solutions.
• Establish KPIs, track performance, and provide executive-level reporting on remediation progress.
• Manage priorities, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder alignment across multiple workstreams.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise patch management, vulnerability remediation, or technology transformation initiatives.
• Proven delivery of automation solutions within technology operations.
• Hands-on application of AI, machine learning, or Generative AI to improve operational outcomes.
• Broad knowledge of endpoints, servers, networking, cloud platforms, and security tools.
• Strong communication, stakeholder management, and leadership abilities.

Preferred Skills

• Product Owner, Product Manager, or Program Leadership experience.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, NexThink, Jamf/SCCM, Plutora, Katalon, BigFix, and Qualys.
• Experience in financial services or other regulated industries.
• Knowledge of Agile product delivery and technology risk management.
