Base pay range

$35.00/hr - $42.00/hr

Location: 100% Remote - work must be done on EST hours

Length of Contract: 6 months+ possible extensions

The Business Analyst reports directly to the Corporate Manager of Business & Project Management and will play a critical role in maintaining the integrity of the contract repository within the Supply Chain department. This position is responsible for ensuring accurate data entry, adherence to established standards and procedures, and conducting regular audits to ensure compliance and data consistency. The Business Analyst will also develop and deliver metrics reports to leadership, providing insights into department performance and data trends that support strategic decision-making. Additionally, the role will be the subject matter expert for our contract repository. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Perform regular audits of contract repository to assess the accuracy, consistency of data and ensuring standards & procedures are followed.
  2. Work closely with supply chain leadership to uphold & enhance established standards & procedures.
  3. Develop and execute strategies to rectify data integrity issues promptly.
  4. Develop comprehensive reports & dashboards summarizing department performance metrics for leadership.
  5. Provide ad-hoc analysis and reporting as requested by leadership to inform strategic decision-making.
  6. Support and educate users on the use of the contracting repository and contract request process.
  7. Create and maintain end-user training materials.
  8. Develop and maintain relationships with internal & external customers.
  9. Manage supplier corrections, including updates due to mergers and acquisitions, within the contract repository.
  10. Assist with launching new enhancements (e.g. RFP tool).
  11. Responsible for training new hires and ongoing training for existing team members on the contract repository & contract request process.
  12. Identify and resolve complex issues, escalating as needed for timely resolution.
  13. Work closely with Supply Chain technical team on reviewing and launching enhancements.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Healthcare, or a related field preferred
  2. 3 – 5 years experience in professional environment - healthcare experience preferred
  3. Knowledge of contracting lifecycle or use of a contract lifecycle management tool preferred
  4. A combination of education and experience may be substituted for requirements
  5. Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel
  6. Experience providing training and support to end users
  7. Ability to think critically, be proactive and be a self-starter
  8. Deep knowledge and understanding of process workflows
  9. Exceptional problem-solving, workflow analysis and workflow improvement skills
  10. Possess strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff at all levels
  11. Self-motivated, independent and possesses the ability to learn quickly
  12. Strong written and verbal communication skills including facilitation and presentation
