Job summary

The Greentree Group is seeking a Business Analyst/SME to join our onsite team at Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio. You will translate requirements into functional specifications for developers and lead functional testing to ensure DoD compliance.

You will create end-user documentation, conduct training, and support Air Force Financial Systems operations globally with a collaborative, high- performing team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 7 years of equivalent experience in finance, IT, or analytics.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Experience gathering and analysis of data and requirements.
• Experience testing and mapping business processes and requirements.
• Ability to interpret technical discussions and create clear documentation.
• Excellent communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

About The Opportunity

As a Business Analyst/Subject Matter Expert (SME) you will have the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and you will collaborate with an outstanding team with an impressive track record in support of the Air Force Financial Systems Organization at Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. This position is onsite at WPAFB.

Some Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Translate conceptual and operational requirements into functional requirements in a clear manner for developers/project team.
• Perform functional acceptance software testing.
• Develop and conduct requirement reviews.

• Create end-user functional system documentation and provide end-user training.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in financial management, accounting, or information systems (or 7 years’ experience).
• Analytical and problem solving skills.
• Direct experience with data collection and analysis.
• Experience testing and mapping business processes.
• Ability to interpret technical discussions, analyze and solve problems, while creating and maintaining documentation.
• Excellent communication, organizational, time management and problem solving skills.
• Ability to effectively prioritize, work accurately, and meet deadlines independently and as part of a team.
• Candidates must be U.S. Citizens and can obtain a favorable National Agency Check Investigation (NACI) clearance.

Desired Qualifications

• Knowledge of Air Force Financial Management and Accounting systems such as: Automated Funds Management (AFM), Financial Management Suite (FMSuite), Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS), Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS)
• DoD Financial Management (FM) certification Level 1 or 2.
• Experience gathering and tracking system requirements through requirements lifecycle and the ability to perform acceptance testing.
• Business Analysis training or certifications such as: Program Management, Organizational Change Management (OCM) certification, or Certification of Capability in Business Analysis.

Compensation / Salary Range

• Greentree adheres to federal, state, and local regulations. This is a Full-Time, Salary, Exempt position. The following salary range is what we reasonably expect to pay but is contingent and subject to a variety of factors, including but not limited to years of experience, education, certification(s), training, specialized skills, responsibilities, etc.
• Salary Range: $70,000-$90,000 annually
• Bonuses: Greentree has an employee referral bonus, as well as employee bonuses based on employee contributions and Greentree’s yearly performance.
