Capco is seeking a Business Analyst for its Retail Energy practice in Washington, D.C. The role focuses on bridging business needs with technology solutions to improve operational efficiency and support transformation initiatives.

You will gather requirements, shape strategy, and deliver high-quality consulting outcomes for retail energy clients, including workshops and documentation. This is a permanent, on-site position.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail energy domains (billing, CIS, EDI, customer care).
• Strong ability to gather requirements and translate into actionable specifications.
• Proficient in process mapping and creating business models.
• Experience delivering structured consulting deliverables and documentation.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate workshops, stakeholder interviews, and analysis to gather and document business requirements.
• Develop business requirement documents, user stories, and functional specifications.
• Analyze current vs. future state processes and identify improvement opportunities.
• Create process models, data models, and business architecture documentation.
• Produce clear, high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations, and proposals.
