Job summary

VSP Vision is seeking a Business Process Analyst to develop, analyze, and implement process improvements across systems. You will conduct stakeholder interviews, document business needs, and create workflow diagrams to support IT system changes.

The role requires 2+ years in analytics, project planning, and Excel-based process modeling, with strong communication skills and the ability to explain IT impacts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in data gathering, research & analytics, problem identification, and presenting solutions.
• Experience with financial and risk analysis, and cost-benefit analyses.
• 2+ years using project planning techniques and methodologies.
• 2+ years of business process analytics using Excel, flowcharts, activity diagrams, and workflow models.
• Ability to explain IT systems and their impacts.
• Strong multitasking and teamwork abilities.
• Effective communication with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Discretion and independent judgment in duties.

Responsibilities

• Develop, research, test, and implement business process improvements, procedures, and system changes.
• Evaluate changes for business impact and benefits.
• Act as SME to provide business requirements for processes and systems.
• Interview and research stakeholders to identify needs and requirements.
• Create and analyze workflow diagrams.
• Review design deliverables to ensure business objectives.
• Provide training materials and change communications.
• Provide post-implementation support and issue resolution.
• Develop presentations of findings and plans.
• Continuously look for improvement strategies.
