GlobalPoint is seeking a Business Analyst to support large-scale modernization initiatives within a Program and Project Management Office (PPMO). You will translate business needs into clear requirements and collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and technical teams.

The role covers the full lifecycle from requirements gathering to training and continuous improvement, with a primarily remote arrangement and occasional onsite as needed.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting large-scale modernization, transformation, or enterprise technology programs.
  • Experience with business analysis, requirements management, process improvement, and systems implementation.
  • Familiarity with data governance, data privacy, information security, and compliance practices.
  • Experience facilitating stakeholder workshops, requirements sessions, and consensus-building discussions.
  • Knowledge of project management and change management methodologies.
  • Experience working with relational databases, cloud-based data platforms, or enterprise applications.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical business audiences.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience creating process flows, user stories, business rules, functional requirements, UAT test cases, SOPs, and training materials.
  • Experience working in environments involving multiple stakeholders, vendors, technical teams, and business functions.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research to elicit and clarify business needs.
  • Analyze current processes, identify gaps and improvement opportunities, and support future-state design.
  • Translate stakeholder needs into business requirements, functional requirements, user stories, business rules, process flows, and functional specifications.
  • Support requirements prioritization, validation, and approval.
  • Maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with technical teams and vendors to clarify requirements and support solution development.
  • Develop current-state and future-state process maps, workflows, SOPs, requirements documentation, and system documentation.
  • Ensure documentation is accurate, consistent, easy to understand, and aligned with approved templates and standards.
  • Document business rules, process dependencies, assumptions, decisions, and operational impacts.
  • Translate technical concepts and system capabilities into language that is understandable to business stakeholders.
  • Support evaluation of proposed solutions against documented business requirements.
  • Participate in solution review sessions and provide business analysis input on functionality, usability, workflow impacts, and potential gaps.
  • Help identify risks, issues, dependencies, and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Work with project teams and vendors to resolve requirement questions and clarify expected outcomes.
  • Support development of User Acceptance Testing (UAT) strategies, scenarios, test cases, and expected results.
  • Participate in UAT execution and validation activities.
  • Document test results, defects, issues, and business impacts.
  • Work with technical teams and vendors to communicate findings and support resolution.
  • Assist with requirements validation and confirmation that delivered solutions meet business needs.
  • Support implementation activities and organizational change initiatives.
  • Develop and update end-user training materials, job aids, SOPs, and training documentation.
  • Participate in train-the-trainer sessions and knowledge-transfer activities.
  • Gather user feedback following implementation and identify workflow or adoption challenges.
  • Communicate user feedback and improvement opportunities to project and program stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with program managers, senior analysts, technical teams, vendors, subject matter experts, and business stakeholders.
  • Participate in project meetings, working sessions, status reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding requirements, decisions, risks, issues, and project impacts.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support program objectives, project timelines, and organizational priorities.

Business Analyst PPMO / Modernization Position Overview

We are seeking a Business Analyst to support large-scale modernization initiatives within a Program and Project Management Office (PPMO). The Business Analyst will work closely with program stakeholders, senior business analysts, technical teams, vendors, and project resources to understand business needs and translate them into clear, actionable requirements and documentation.

The role will support the full project lifecycle, including requirements gathering, business process analysis, solution assessment, testing, implementation, training, and continuous improvement.

This is a primarily remote position, with occasional onsite work required based on business and program needs.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis & Requirements
  • Conduct stakeholder interviews, workshops, document reviews, and research to elicit and clarify business needs.
