Job summary

Hyster-Yale Materials Handling, Inc. seeks a Business Analyst Lead to drive SAP S/4HANA implementations across Avon, IN and Danville, IL. You will partner with business and IT teams to capture requirements, design functional specs, and guide delivery from planning through testing and rollout.

You will mentor junior analysts, ensure SDLC compliance, and optimize global business processes. This role offers a hybrid work model and strong growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Gather, analyze, validate, and document business requirements for global solutions and common business processes.

• Evaluate potential solutions, recommend improvements, and secure stakeholder alignment on proposed changes.
• Lead requirements management, project planning, testing activities, implementation priorities, and delivery schedules.
• Support significant system changes, enhancements, troubleshooting efforts, and assigned project activities.
• Ensure solutions and documentation align with the System Development Life Cycle, internal IT standards, regulatory requirements, and long-term business strategy.
• Provide leadership, coaching, and direction to junior Business Analysts and team members.

What You Will Do

What You Will Need (Education)

• Bachelor's degree with at least five years of relevant experience; or


• Associate degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience; or


• At least 12 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.

Skills, Experience & Abilities

• Experience applying project management fundamentals, including work planning, scope control, task dependencies, requirements management, and schedule management.


• Strong understanding of the System Development Life Cycle and business analysis practices.


• Experience eliciting, analyzing, documenting, validating, and verifying business requirements.


• Ability to develop functional design documentation and detailed test plans.


• Experience leading testing efforts and supporting system implementations, enhancements, and troubleshooting.


• Knowledge of business process improvement, audit controls, compliance requirements, and regulatory considerations.


• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, crisis-management, communication, and interpersonal skills.


• Proficiency with standard PC and Windows-based applications.


• Ability to understand business processes within the applicable area of expertise and translate them into effective technology solutions.
