Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company is seeking a Business Analyst-Level 1 in Naperville, IL for a 1-year contract (W-2). You will collect, organize, and analyze data to support business decisions and help with demand modeling, locational analysis, and segment analysis.

You will develop reports and recommendations to improve project execution and resource allocation, with strong research skills and an organized data reporting approach. You report to the onsite manager.

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED required.
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience required.
• Experience: 2 years required.

Responsibilities

• Support the Sales team for processing commercial agreements.
• Act as liaison between Internal Sales Team, Channel Partners, and Customers; analyze inbound requests for proposals, set up accounts, gather usage data, and manage changes to proposals and pricing refreshes.
• Communicate effectively with all partners to ensure deliverables are met and accurate.
• Engage in process design and modification for continuous business improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with all internal departments; raise awareness of front-to-end processes and impacts on team responsibilities.
• Provide leadership with deliverables and status updates.
• Perform other job-related responsibilities as assigned.

We're looking for a Business Analyst-Level 1 on behalf of our client. This is a 1-year contract assignment (W-2). You will help collect, organize, and analyze data to support business decision-making. Support special projects related to demand modeling, locational analysis, and segment analysis. Develop reports and recommendations that help improve project execution and resource allocation. You would need to have research skills, and an organized approach to data processing and reporting. You will report to the onsite manager.

Key Responsibilities

• Employees in this role directly support our Sales team for processing commercial agreements.
• Primary responsibilities include acting as a liaison between our Internal Sales Team, Channel Partners, and Customers. This includes analyzing inbound requests for proposals, setting up accounts, gathering usage data, managing changes to proposals and pricing refreshes, and handling any other aspects of opportunity set up to allow for bidding.
• Effectively communicate with all partners to ensure deliverables are met and accurately.
• Proactively engage in process design and modification for continuous business improvement
• Collaborate cross‑functionally across all internal departments. Increase awareness of front‑to‑end process of cross‑functional teams and impacts to current team responsibility.
• Provide to Leadership on deliverables and status updates.
• Perform other job‑related responsibilities as assigned.

The base salary range for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $25.00/hr. to $30.00/hr.
