Job summary

Skyworks Solutions, Inc. invites students to join its Internship Program in the Technology & Manufacturing group. The program provides real work experience, exposure to upper management, and opportunities to pursue full-time roles as available.

Interns will tackle challenging assignments, receive mentoring, and participate in Launch & Learn events. You will collaborate on team-based projects, build networks, and present a final overview to business leaders.

Qualifications

• Pursuing BS in Business Administration and/or Supply Chain with minimum GPA 3.0.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Some experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Analyzing processes and documents for opportunities for improvement.
• Standardizing and automating workflows, creating work instructions to document learnings.
• Extracting, manipulating, and analyzing data to articulate a clear and concise interpretation.
• Interacting with project teams to submit timely deliverables and expand network of working relationships.
• Evaluating, documenting, and mitigating category risk.
• Basic supplier interactions.

Skyworks' Internship Program is designed for college students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program. Skyworks offers real work experience, exposure to upper management, and the opportunity to pursue full-time opportunities, as available.

Skyworks' Sourcing Business Analyst Internships are offered in our Technology & Manufacturing (TMG) business group. Specific projects and responsibilities will be determined based on the business needs at the time of the internship assignment.

Required Experience and Skills

• Currently pursuing a BS in Business Administration and/or Supply Chain
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio)
• Some experience with contemporary data visualizations tools such as Power BI
• Excellent interpersonal skills with articulate written and verbal communications Initiative, drive, and internal motivation for success with minimal supervision
• Positive attitude, eager and able to learn new skills with a keen eye for detail
• Strategic vision, critical thinking, problem-solving skills

The typical pay range for an Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $29.00 - $49.00 per hour and for a Non-Engineering intern across the U.S. is currently USD $23.00 - $42.00 per hour. Starting pay will depend on level of education, the ultimate job duties and requirements, and work location. Skyworks has different pay ranges for different work locations in the U.S.
