Job Overview

The Division of Innovation, Strategy & Delivery (ISD) is responsible for implementing technology-driven business goals for the Department of Revenue (DOR). This team focuses on innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration with stakeholders to support the agency's growth and adaptability.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with fellow Business Analyst IIIs to enhance skills in business analysis, process management, software lifecycle, and quality assurance.
• Assist in developing new processes, operational reports, and artifacts to improve team efficiency and solution quality.
• Facilitate discovery sessions and gather requirements to identify process improvements.
• Create and review requirements, conduct meetings, and provide training to improve team efficacy.
• Develop and validate testing activities based on business requirements.
• Provide research-based recommendations to leadership and respond to stakeholder inquiries.
• Promote transparency and customer service by effectively communicating with stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

• Six (6) years of progressive experience in business analysis or related fields, including at least one year working with the Colorado DRIVES application in a relevant role.

Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, public administration, computer science, information systems, or a related field, plus two (2) years of relevant experience, including at least one year with Colorado DRIVES.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Additional experience with Colorado DRIVES, software development, Agile methodologies, testing, documentation, and stakeholder management.

Additional Information

This position requires Colorado residency, a background check, and adherence to public trust standards. Occasional in-office meetings in Denver may be required.
