Job summary

Old Dominion Freight Line is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to analyze processes, translate requirements into design, and collaborate with cross-functional teams including SAP/HANA, Workday, and Power i environments. You will drive backlog items, define acceptance criteria, and support testing and user adoption in an Agile setting.

Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field, 4 years IT BA experience, strong communication, and mentoring skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent education and experience.
• 4 years of IT experience as a Business Analyst in an Information Technology environment.
• Proficiency in documenting requirements and specifications.
• Experience in an Agile development environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to mentor others.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business problems and recommend improvements or solutions.
• Develop requirements for processes or systems across domains and document details for developers.
• Break down requirements into backlog items and ensure understanding by product teams.
• Provide functional design specifications and collaborate on interfaces with designers.
• Create and maintain test cases and automated tests; support user acceptance testing.
• Participate in daily/weekly Agile ceremonies and assist in interviewing candidates.
