Job Description

We are seeking a Business Analyst II to serve as a Technical Business Analyst. This full-time, hybrid position is based in Trenton, NJ. The role involves identifying, documenting, and streamlining workflows in ServiceNow, and building these processes into the system.

What You'll Do

1. Work with staff to identify and document existing paper-based workflows for automation in ServiceNow.
2. Identify reports, SLAs, and KPIs to measure performance.
3. Meet with involved parties to document current activities.
4. Assess and determine if activities can be streamlined.
5. Gain consensus and implement streamlined processes into ServiceNow.

Required Qualifications

• At least 2 years of ITIL/Service Management experience.
• 3 years' experience with Workflow Configuration using ServiceNow.
• 3 years' experience with Service Management tools (ServiceNow preferred).
• Strong technical problem-solving skills.
• 2 years' experience with ServiceNow, Footprints, or similar ITSM tools.
• Knowledge of rules, triggers, criteria, and actions for automation.
• 7 years of overall technical business analyst experience.
• Experience automating workflows in Service Management applications.
• Ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of ServiceNow workflow automation.
• Process improvement experience.
• Ability to identify and eliminate non-value-added steps.
• Experience establishing KPIs and reports.
• ITIL/Service Management knowledge.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Physical Demands

• Ability to perform essential functions safely, per ADA and other standards.
• Sedentary work involving computer use and occasional movement.
