Location: Birmingham or Atlanta (Hybrid, minimum 3 days onsite)

Contract: 5 months to hire

Pay Rate: $40.00 to $42.00 per hour

The Business Analyst acts as a bridge between the team and the assigned line of business.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Advocate for business clients throughout all phases of the solution development lifecycle, including initiation, analysis, development, testing, implementation, and post-implementation follow-up.
2. Conduct complex analysis to identify core business issues and develop possible solutions.
3. Create business cases, defining needs, methods, and benefits of proposed solutions.
4. Develop detailed requirements to satisfy business needs.
5. Collaborate with development teams to refine solution design and outcomes.
6. Monitor progress to ensure solutions meet requirements.
7. Resolve conflicts arising from technical deviations.
8. Work with testing teams to ensure issues are addressed before rollout.
9. Evaluate user interactions during implementation and make necessary modifications.
10. Stay updated on best practices, resources, and trends.
11. Participate in small projects or as part of larger teams.

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field
• At least 4 years of experience in Business/Systems analysis or related area
• Experience in Software Testing
• Proficiency with JIRA
• Strong technical documentation skills and ability to write actionable stories
• Ability to learn additional systems as needed
• Strong analytical skills and data research capabilities
