Business Systems Analyst II
Remote CST or EST
6-month contract
Pay Rate: $44.00 to $48.00 per hr.

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support our Sales and Service (web-based account/loan application platform) and Transact (teller transaction system) applications. These tools are built on the Argo Data platform and used daily across bank branches. The selected BA will play a key role in the R2 Core Modernization Project, helping turn business needs into actionable development stories and quality test cases.

Primary Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product Owners to gather, document, and refine business requirements.
• Translate requirements into user stories and detailed acceptance criteria within Azure DevOps (ADO).
• Support the QA team by creating and executing manual test cases via Test Manager (ADO).
• Participate in daily Agile stand-ups (Sales & Service team at 9:00 AM CST; Transact team at 9:30 AM CST).
• Serve as a flexible team member—supporting both applications depending on business priorities.
• (Nice to have) Interpret application logs to support issue resolution and requirements clarification.

Required Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Information Systems, or related field
• Four (4) years of experience in Business/Systems analysis or related field
• Strong understanding of functional analysis, user workflows, and acceptance criteria writing.
• Experience working in Agile environments (Scrum/Kanban) and using Azure DevOps or similar tools.
• Excellent communication, analytical thinking, and logical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to collaborate across development, QA, and product teams in a fast-paced environment.

Bonus Skills:

• Experience with Argo Data platforms (e.g., Teller, Sales and Service modules).
• Exposure to banking operations such as account opening, loan processing, teller transactions, stop payments, and beneficial ownership.
• Familiarity with Test Manager in Azure DevOps and manual testing methodologies.
• Comfort with reading basic application logs (not required, but beneficial).
