Business Analyst I/II ( Planning Analyst)

Duration: 12 months contract W2- Potential extension
Pay Rate: $41.08-$52.82
Location: Remote

Essential Position Responsibilities

• Purchase Requisition Management: Prepare, submit, and track purchase requisitions for contractor resources supporting the team’s analytical activities, ensuring requests are accurate, timely, and aligned with anticipated resource needs and established procurement processes.
• Monthly Resource and Workload Planning: Partner regularly with consultants and project leads to gather, consolidate, and maintain monthly forecasts of contractor resource assignments, including anticipated projects, responsibilities, and estimated hours required for each resource.
• Resource Allocation and Forecast Alignment: Establish and maintain a process to monitor contractor assignments against anticipated project needs and forecasted hours, proactively identifying and communicating potential gaps, capacity constraints, or misalignment between available resources and planned work.
• Contractor Roster Management: Work with Client contractors to maintain accurate and up-to-date rosters, including resource assignments, project affiliations, anticipated hours, start and end dates, and other relevant resource information. Ensure updates are completed in a timely manner and properly communicated to appropriate stakeholders.
• Process Improvement and Compliance: Identify opportunities to improve resource planning, requisition management, roster maintenance, and contractor coordination processes while ensuring adherence to applicable procurement policies, procedures, and internal controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• BS– Business Administration or similar
• 3+ years of experience performing a similar role
• Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment
• Maintains an exceptional level of customer focus,ability to multi-task,organize and prioritize tasks.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Experience using verbal and written communications skills
• Ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel and MS-PowerPoint)
• Preferred:
  • Experience with Utility/Energy operations, markets, and planning functions
  • Experience supporting any of PJM Committees
  • Experience with SAP
