4soft is seeking a seasoned Business Analyst to join our client’s Innovation team in the financial services domain. You will act as the bridge between business stakeholders, Product Owner, and IT, translating needs into clear requirements and structured documentation.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Acting as the key interface between business stakeholders, the Product Owner, and the IT team
• Understanding business drivers and needs, mainly through stakeholder interviews and workshops
• Leading the analysis of functional and non-functional requirements and translating them into structured documentation in TFS
• Organising pre-refinements with Solution Architects, fellow BAs, and the Product Owner, and leading refinements with the Scrum team
• Clarifying Product Backlog Items (PBIs) until they are ready for development
• Assisting the Product Owner in writing and prioritising PBIs and maintaining a healthy backlog
• Preparing detailed business requirements and validating functional designs derived from your analysis
• Writing and reviewing test case and supporting test execution to make sure solutions match real business needs
• Acting as the guardian of the project’s business scope
• Mastering the solution demo and supporting business teams in client meetings
• Supporting PoC/PoV activities and staying on top of emerging trends in DLT and digital assets

What we expect from you:

• Proven experience in business analysis in the financial services sector
• Strong understanding of Distributed Ledger Technology (DLT)
• Understanding of the bond primary issuance process and the role of a Central Securities Depository (CSD)
• Solid Agile Scrum expertise, including backlog refinement and PBI management
• Experience in test case writing and execution
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills
• Excellent documentation skills
• Strong priority and time management skills
• A proactive, “make things happen” attitude, and the ability to collaborate across business, product, and engineering teams
• Eagerness to learn and adapt quickly in a complex, evolving environment
• English proficiency at C1 level or above (for international client collaboration)
• Polish language skills at B2 level or above (for smooth communication with the team)

Great if you also bring:

• Knowledge of R3 Corda, Canton, Hyperledger Besu or Ethereum
• Knowledge of UML
• Understanding of Gherkin
• Experience with PoC/PoV initiatives or digital securities projects
