Overview

We're seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst to support the discovery and planning phase of a district-wide Data/Information Strategy (Client) project. This role is ideal for someone with strong experience in data analytics, data warehouses, and DataLink, with a talent for conducting stakeholder interviews and translating business needs into technical requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct stakeholder interviews to assess current data landscape and capture business needs
• Document workflows, pain points, and improvement opportunities
• Support data inventory, current-state assessment, and gap analysis
• Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to align business goals with technical solutions
• Provide input into the development of governance and data strategy documents
• Ensure alignment with regulatory standards and best practices (e.g., NIST, DAMA-DMBOK2)
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst in data-driven environments
• Strong knowledge of data analytics, data warehousing, and tools like DataLink
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Familiarity with governance frameworks and lifecycle methodologies (DMAIC, PDCA, SDLC)
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote setting
