Job summary

Hydrogen Group is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst in Juno Beach, FL (onsite) to support Cybersecurity Strategic Initiatives. You will translate business needs into clear requirements and work with business and technology stakeholders to improve processes, controls, and daily operations.

You will develop requirements, process flows and use cases, run tests, and support Agile delivery including backlog refinement and sprint planning to ensure solutions are delivered successfully.

Qualifications

• Strong business analysis background with requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation.
• Experience translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements.
• Experience coordinating projects or initiatives across multiple business and technology stakeholders.
• Hands-on system testing experience including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing.
• Experience supporting technology solutions and resolving operational or production issues.

Position Summary

Our client, a major US electric utility, is looking for a IT Business Systems Analyst to support its Cybersecurity Strategic Initiatives. Working closely with business and technology stakeholders, you will assess business needs, define requirements, and help deliver technology and cybersecurity solutions. As the bridge between business and technical teams, you will turn business goals into clear, workable requirements and identify opportunities to strengthen processes, controls, systems, and day-to-day operations.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities

• Work with business and technology stakeholders to understand their needs and convert them into clear business and technical requirements
• Review current business processes, systems, and workflows to find opportunities for improvement, automation, standardization, and greater efficiency
• Create and maintain business and functional requirements, process flows, procedures, use cases, and related documentation
• Coordinate cross-functional initiatives and project activity, tracking priorities, dependencies, risks, issues, and deliverables
• Support the design, rollout, enhancement, and adoption of technology and cybersecurity solutions
• Build test scenarios and carry out integration, regression, and user acceptance testing to confirm requirements are met and solutions are delivered successfully
• Provide operational support by investigating system and process issues, coordinating fixes, and identifying ways to stop problems recurring
• Prepare and deliver presentations, demos, training materials, job aids, and other resources to support stakeholder communication and user adoption
• Support Agile delivery, including requirements refinement, backlog management, sprint planning, solution reviews, and implementation readiness
• Recommend improvements to processes, controls, and technologies based on business needs, operational metrics, risk factors, and lessons learned
• Build strong working relationships across business, cybersecurity, technology, and external partner teams to keep strategic initiatives on track

Education/Experience

• Strong business analysis background, covering requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, and validation
• Proven track record of translating business needs into clear functional and technical requirements
• Experience analyzing and improving business processes, workflows, and supporting systems
• Experience coordinating projects or initiatives across multiple business and technology stakeholders
• Hands-on system testing experience, including integration, regression, and user acceptance testing
• Experience supporting technology solutions and resolving operational or production issues
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments and cross-functional teams

Knowledge/Skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication, able to speak to both business and technical audiences
• Able to produce executive-ready presentations, process documentation, training materials, job aids, and communications
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and work management platforms such as ServiceNow and ChangeGear
• Proficient in Microsoft 365, including PowerPoint and Visio, with strong presentation and visual communication skills
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
