Job summary

Geisinger is seeking a remote Business Analyst for the Florida region. You will document workflow, business rules, and data, and coordinate the development and testing of new or redesigned solutions.

You will translate user needs into technical specs, review requirements, and facilitate planning sessions with stakeholders. A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience and strong communication and critical thinking are required to succeed in this role.

• Works with project team to identify benefits, costs, and risks of solution options.
• Holds regular meetings with users and project team members.
• Resolves and escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Delivers project objectives on time and within budget.
• Translates use cases to UAT requirements and regression testing results.
• Coordinates testing with users and technical staff.

Job Summary:

Responsible for accurately documenting workflow, processes, business rules, data, systems, and other business information required for a clear picture of the business. Coordinates the development, documentation, analysis, and review of business requirements. Apply business rules, processes, and workflow to the use of new or redesigned solutions.

Job Duties:

• Translates functional business specifications into clear and concise technical specifications for use by system developers and configuration specialists.
• Reviews, analyzes, and evaluates user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies.
• Documents system requirements, defines scope and objectives, and creates system specifications that drive system development and implementation.
• Facilitates joint requirements planning and business requirements gathering sessions.
• Works with project team and management to identify and document benefits, costs, and risks associated with solution alternatives.
• Holds regular meetings with users and other project team members.
• Resolves and escalates issues in a timely fashion.
• Delivers full project objectives on time and within budget.
• Performs translation of use case to user acceptance testing requirements and regression testing results.
• Coordinates testing with users and technical staff.

*Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate's Degree = 2 years; Bachelor's Degree = 4 years).
