Job Description

This position is only open to candidates currently pursuing their associate's degree from a community college or trade school. Candidates pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher will not be considered.

Early Career Apprentice Program

Join our 12-24 month apprentice program to work in your field while training on the job! You will earn and learn, receive career guidance and mentorship, and attend school. Allstate provides tuition assistance and hands-on training in business analytics.

Job Qualifications

Education:

• Pursuing an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Project Management, or related fields preferred.
• Strong technical skills and business process experience are encouraged to apply.

Work Authorization:

• Must be authorized to work in the United States full-time.

Core Skills:

• Problem-solving mindset: ability to analyze business challenges and develop automated solutions.
• Technical aptitude: experience with SharePoint, Excel (advanced functions), Power Automate, SQL, or other BI tools is a plus.
• Self-starter: takes initiative, collaborates effectively, and drives projects forward.
• Strong communication skills: able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Apprentice Responsibilities

IT Business Analyst:

• Gather and document requirements for legal technology solutions.
• Identify and implement automation using SharePoint workflows, Power Automate, etc.
• Collaborate with legal teams to assess and enhance systems like TeamConnect.
• Analyze and optimize legal processes through data insights.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders and IT teams.

Business Insights Analyst:

• Compile, clean, and analyze data to inform business decisions.
• Present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
• Communicate project updates to teams and management.
• Monitor KPIs and recommend improvements.
• Support data-driven decision-making in Law & Regulation.

Compensation

Part-time, 20-40 hours/week, $18-$25/hr. Benefits included.
