Gilder Search Group seeks an experienced Technical Writer/Business Analyst to support IT requirements development and documentation for federal healthcare projects.

The role requires strong ability to create, edit, and maintain documentation, coordinate reviews, ensure WCAG 2.2 accessibility, and work with Confluence/SharePoint. Public Trust clearance sponsorship is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT requirements development and documentation.
• 4+ years in requirements analysis, process flow design, JAD sessions, and writing requirements.
• Knowledge of Healthcare industry and Medicare/Medicaid projects preferred.
• Ability to review, edit, rewrite, version and maintain high-quality documentation.
• Experience with Confluence and SharePoint repositories and documentation training.

Public Trust Clearance

This role requires the hired candidate to go through public clearance. A minimum of 3 years of stay in the U.S. within the last 5 years is a must to be eligible to qualify for public trust clearance sponsorship.

Minimum/General Experience

Bachelor of Technology more than 5 years of experience, AA degree with 7 years of experience, or comparable level certification with more than 9 years of experience in IT Requirements development and documentation preferred. 4 or more years experience in requirements analysis, process flow design, conducting JAD sessions and writing requirements is required. Knowledge of Healthcare industry and working experience in Medicare/Medicaid Projects is also preferred.

Documentation Management

Thoroughly review, edit, rewrite, version, finalize, and maintain documentation that meets quality standards. Coordinate with both peers and client on moving the documentation through the review process, tracking changes, and verifying all questions/comments addressed before finalization. Documentation types may include (but are not limited to) project plans, system requirements, analysis reports, code documentation, implementation plans, security plans, interface control documents, user guides, test plans and reports, white papers, Confluence pages, etc.

• Ensure accuracy of document versioning and maintenance within the designated repository/collaboration site.
• Create and maintain Confluence pages, including implementing reader friendly macros and assisting with assigning/tracking site permissions.
• Assist with training/troubleshooting peers as it relates to documentation and Confluence/SharePoint repositories.

Functional Responsibility

Technical Writing

• Create documentation, which is grammatically correct, concise, and clearly conveys the required information to End User/Customer/Management personnel.
• Ensure that the grammar, format, and expression of all documentation is consistent with Softrams and client standards.

Accessibility/508

• Test documentation for accessibility per 508 Compliance standards using Adobe, JAWS or other tools, and correct documentation errors as needed to meet WCAG 2.2 compliance.

Preferred Qualifications:

In-depth knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid policies, programs, systems, and data, experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), agile certifications relevant to product owner and product analyst roles (e.g., PMI-ACP, CPM, CPO, CSM, PSM, SAFe POPM), experience with Electronic Data Interface (EDI) processing, including experience with 270/271transactions and/or other X12 data formats, experience working with Federal Healthcare IT Projects. Other government contract experience will be considered, and the ability to perform business process modeling and develop business process flows and concepts of operation for large complex systems.
