Job summary

Spectraforce Technologies in Nashville, TN is seeking an IT Business Systems Analyst II to gather and document requirements, and guide partners through system development. This onsite role supports Medicare/Medicaid programs, reviews test plans, and ensures successful deployment. The candidate will mentor junior staff and contribute to training materials as part of a collaborative team. The position is 6 months+ contract to hire, offering exposure to healthcare IT systems.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of IT Business Analysis experience
• Healthcare domain experience, Medicare/Medicaid preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Visio and Excel)
• Experience translating between business users and technical teams
• Knowledge of API integration is a plus
• Experience with Agile & Waterfall methodologies
• Certification in CSPO, A-CSPO, PMI-ACP, or CSP-PO is preferred

IT Business Systems Analyst II (Medicare/Medicaid)

Role

Skill Requirements

• IT Business Analysis experience within healthcare; Medicare/Medicaid strongly preferred
• Strong critical analysis and problem solving ability
• Requirements elicitation, documentation, and validation
• Ability to translate between business users and technical teams
• Coding literacy (SQL, XML, JSON, or similar)
• Experience reviewing test plans, test cases, and project documentation
• Excellent communication skills with both technical and non technical audiences
• Team oriented, collaborative mindset

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or other job related field. or 4 years of job related work experience or 2 years of job related experience plus an associate's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration or other job related degree OR 8 total years required work experience.

Required Experience

• 4+ years of IT Business Analysis experience
• Understanding of IT impacts on business processes
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Visio and Excel)
• Agile & Waterfall methodology experience
• Demonstrated IT Business Analysis experience within the Healthcare domain, with a preference for Medicare and/or Medicaid systems.
• Experience supporting or integrating Automated Processing Systems (API).
• Familiarity with AWS and/or Cloud-based platforms and services.
• Experience with Electronic Data Systems, including Electronic Medical Records (EMR) solutions.
• Exposure to AI tools or solutions, particularly in process automation, analytics, or decision support.
• Candidate should have one of the following certifications active from an accredited organization: CSPO, A-CSPO, PMI-ACP, CSP-PO.

Preferred Experience

• SAFe, CBAP, or similar certifications
