Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a data analytics leader to identify and implement AI-enabled solutions across Materials Management, Purchasing, Inventory, and Production Planning. You will develop scalable dashboards and KPIs to drive efficiency and visibility across multiple facilities.

You will partner with leaders in Manufacturing, Finance, and IT to standardize best practices and advance data governance in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics or related roles.
• Experience using AI, automation, and analytics to improve processes.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, materials management, ERP/MRP.
• Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools.
• Eligible to work in the United States; E-Verify may be used.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement AI-enabled solutions to automate manual processes and improve workflow efficiency.
• Develop scalable reporting, dashboards, and analytics for Materials Management, Purchasing, Inventory, Forecasting, Production Planning, and Supplier Performance.
• Analyze operational data to identify cost reduction, productivity, and decision-making opportunities.
• Partner with Materials Management, Manufacturing, Engineering, Finance, and IT leaders to improve processes and standardize best practices across facilities.
• Evaluate and deploy modern technologies, automation tools, and AI applications that create measurable operational value.
• Collaborate with division leaders and AI champions to drive standardization across the business unit.
• Help establish a data-driven operating environment through improved data governance, reporting accuracy, and process discipline.
• Support AI and data intelligence initiatives across a multi-site packaging machinery manufacturing organization.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Business Analytics, Supply Chain, Operations, Manufacturing Analytics, or related roles
• Demonstrated experience using AI, automation, and analytics tools to improve business processes and decision-making
• Strong understanding of manufacturing, materials management, supply chain operations, inventory management, and ERP/MRP systems
• Experience developing dashboards, KPIs, and actionable reporting tools
• Experience with Power BI, SQL, Excel, Power Automate, Python, or similar technologies
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to simplify complexity and influence business decisions
• Proven ability to work cross-functionally and drive initiatives in a fast-paced operational environment
• Experience in packaging machinery, industrial equipment, engineered products, or discrete manufacturing
• Experience implementing AI-powered workflow automation or predictive analytics
• Multi-site manufacturing experience and a track record of operational improvement
