Job summary

Grayson Search Partners, LLC in Chicago seeks a hands-on Business & AI Analyst to support technology, data, and AI initiatives across the firm. You’ll report to the AVP of IT Solutions and work with stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to improve systems, data integrity, and workflows.

This hybrid, non-engineering role focuses on evaluation, configuration, reporting, and enablement—driving AI/automation, dashboards, and end-user training.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years in business analysis, technology/data operations, or product management.
• Experience configuring/managing CRM platforms (DealCloud, Salesforce, Dynamo, Dynamics).
• Strong Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, data normalization) and strong analytical/problem-solving ability.
• Familiarity with market data platforms (Capital IQ, FactSet, PitchBook, Preqin).
• Experience with AI tooling (ChatGPT/Codex, Claude, Gemini, Copilot).

Responsibilities

• Own support and ongoing maintenance of core platforms including DealCloud and RFPio (configuration, reporting, dashboards, continuous improvement).
• Build and maintain recurring reporting and data collection processes, including bulk updates and data integrity checks.
• Lead system improvements by coordinating with vendors, internal IT, and third-party partners to resolve issues and enhance user experience.
• Coordinate technology evaluations: gather requirements, document processes, compare vendors, and support selection and rollout.
• Prototype, test, and deliver AI/automation solutions, documenting outcomes and cost/benefit tradeoffs.
• Drive end-user enablement through training, documentation, and change management.
• Support vendor analysis, negotiations, renewals, and spend forecasting across a portfolio of tools and providers.

You’ll join a small, high-impact IT Solutions team and take real ownership of core platforms and continuous improvement.

Overview

The firm’s IT Solutions team is hiring a Business & AI Analyst to support technology, data, and AI programs across the firm. You’ll report to the AVP of IT Solutions and partner closely with business stakeholders, vendors, and internal teams to improve systems, data integrity, and end-user workflows. This is a hands-on delivery role focused on evaluation, configuration, reporting, and enablement—not software engineering.

Location:

Chicago, IL (Hybrid — 4 days onsite, Fridays remote)
