Job summary

The Jacobson Group seeks a senior PM/BA to lead hybrid digital product initiatives in the property and casualty insurance space. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on analysis, coordinating across underwriting, operations and IT while engaging internal stakeholders and external partners.

You will orchestrate end-to-end delivery, translate business needs into actionable requirements, drive UAT, and manage risks in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in a combined project management and business analysis role.
• Proven success leading digital initiatives in underwriting, policy administration or self-service platforms.
• Strong background in property and casualty insurance with carriers, MGAs or brokers.

Responsibilities

Job Description

This is a senior-level hybrid role that combines strategic project leadership with hands-on business analysis, specifically within the property and casualty insurance domain. The ideal candidate will be a proactive, technically literate professional who can lead digital product initiatives while engaging with both internal stakeholders and external partners. This role requires a highly organized individual capable of managing complex projects from inception to delivery, ensuring alignment with business objectives, compliance standards and timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of digital product builds, ensuring they meet business goals, adhere to timelines, and comply with standards.
• Gather, document, and validate complex business and technical requirements across underwriting, operations and IT teams.
• Manage project plans, identify risks, and communicate effectively to ensure transparency and accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate collaboration between business leaders, developers, QA teams and external vendors or carriers.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with experience engaging with executive stakeholders and external partners
• Technically fluent—understanding digital platforms, authentication flows, APIs and system integrations
• Highly organized, detail-oriented and comfortable managing ambiguity in fast-paced environments
• Proficient in tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Microsoft Project and Excel

Pay Range

The anticipated pay range for this position is $60.00 - $65.00 per hour. We understand salary is an important factor in a job search, and we encourage you to apply even if you feel that your desired compensation may fall outside of the listed range. The final pay for this position is determined based on several factors including but not limited to, relevant experience, skills and certifications, education and training, geographic location, market conditions, and internal equity.
