Business Analyst – Multi-Industry Opportunities (Excluding Healthcare)

Employment Type: Full-time (Contract or Contract-to-Hire)

Experience Level: Mid to Senior-Level (3+ years)

About the Role

As a Business Analyst at Aaratech Inc, you will work with diverse enterprise clients to deliver digital transformation and IT modernization projects. You’ll be responsible for requirement gathering, process analysis, and serving as a vital link between business stakeholders and technical teams. Depending on the project, you may work in agile, waterfall, or hybrid environments, helping deliver scalable, user-centric technology solutions across industries.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements
• Translate business needs into clear user stories, process flows, and technical specifications
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and JAD sessions with business and IT teams
• Conduct gap analysis, impact assessments, and process modeling using tools like Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io
• Partner with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, UX/UI, and product owners
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data validation, and change management
• Prepare and maintain BRDs, FRDs, and other project documentation
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and project governance

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of Business Analysis experience in any of the following industries:
• Banking, Insurance, Financial Services, IT, Software, Logistics, Energy, Education, Media, Retail, Telecom, Manufacturing, or Government
• Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies
• Strong ability to analyze complex business problems and recommend effective digital solutions
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience working with tools like Jira, Confluence, TFS, or ServiceNow
• Proficiency in process mapping, data analysis, documentation, and reporting

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud migration, CRM/ERP implementation, or legacy modernization
• Familiarity with SQL, API specs, BI dashboards, or RPA tools
• Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, CSM, or Product Owner
• Background in consulting or multi-client environments
