CyberCoders is seeking an experienced Business Analyst in Southern California to support distribution-focused projects and SAP implementations. You will translate business needs into clear user stories, manage requirements in JIRA, and collaborate with Distribution, Finance and Supply Chain teams.

• Hands-on SAP functional modules and SAP project delivery.
• Proven ability to write user stories and manage requirements in JIRA.
• Strong understanding of Distribution processes and ERP/EDI integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication across teams.
• Experience supporting UAT, validation and defect management.
• Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall project delivery and PMO collaboration.
• Nice-to-have: IT team experience, ERP implementations, accounting concepts, regulated industries like Pharma/Healthcare/Finance.
• Bachelor-level or equivalent education in related fields.

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst to support distribution-focused projects and SAP implementations. The role will translate business requirements into clear user stories, manage requirements using JIRA, and work closely with stakeholders across Distribution, Finance, and Supply Chain. The successful candidate will drive requirement definition, support testing and validation activities, and ensure solutions meet business needs in regulated environments such as pharma and healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze and document business requirements from stakeholders in Distribution, Supply Chain, Finance and other teams.
• Create clear, prioritized user stories and acceptance criteria for delivery teams; manage and refine backlog in JIRA.
• Collaborate with SAP functional and technical teams to design and configure solutions that meet business requirements.
• Support project delivery across methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) including participation in planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives where applicable.
• Coordinate and facilitate UAT and validation activities, capturing defects and verifying fixes to ensure solutions meet acceptance criteria.
• Work with PMO and project managers to track requirements, scope changes and project deliverables.
• Engage with stakeholders at all levels to communicate status, risks and decisions and to secure timely feedback and approvals.
• Provide subject matter expertise on Distribution processes, ERP/EDI interfaces and accounting impacts to inform design and testing.
• Contribute to documentation, training materials and go-live support to ensure smooth handover to operations and minimal business disruption.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst working on Distribution or Supply Chain projects.
• Hands-on experience with SAP functional modules and SAP project delivery.
• Demonstrable experience writing user stories and managing requirements in JIRA.
• Strong understanding of Distribution processes and ERP/EDI integrations.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technical teams.
• Experience supporting UAT, validation and defect management.
• Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (Agile and Waterfall) and experience working with a PMO.
• Nice-to-have: experience in IT teams, ERP implementations, accounting concepts, and regulated industries such as Pharma, Healthcare or Finance.
• Bachelors degree in Business, IT, Supply Chain, Finance or a related field, or equivalent experience.
