What New Business Analysts Can Expect

The Business Analyst role is an entry-level position where you will be immediately exposed to being the frontline change agent for our clients. You are the primary source of reliable data and rock-solid analysis, providing the fact base the improvement team uses to make decisions in real time.

Responsibilities include:

1. Assisting with the delivery of measurable improvements and the implementation of processes and systems that will sustain ongoing improvements, especially by supporting prioritization and problem-solving.
2. Working closely with other team members and client team members to collect/analyze data and provide insights.
3. At times, taking on front-line coaching roles, especially with client analysts, to broaden management experience.

Key Competencies for Business Analysts

Requirements include:

1. Undergraduate degree from a top-tier university, with excellent results (distinction average).
2. Excellent problem-solving skills, including analytics.
3. Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to coach, influence, and build trust with peers and clients.
4. Demonstrated passion for results.
5. Fluency in English.
6. Excellent communication skills, including the ability to respond clearly to hard questions under pressure and to use visual tools without assistance to communicate insights.
7. Above average knowledge of PowerPoint and Excel (Power BI advantageous).
