Responsibilities
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Analyst with 1-4 years of experience to join our dynamic team. This role will be critical in optimizing our technical processes, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing key vendor relationships and contracts. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business needs and technical solutions, driving efficiency and mitigating risks across various initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Process Analysis & Optimization:
- Analyze existing technical processes, identify inefficiencies, and propose solutions for improvement.
- Document current and future state processes, workflows, and system requirements using various methodologies (e.g., swimlane diagrams, user stories, use cases).
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Facilitate meetings to gather, analyze, and validate requirements.
Compliance & Risk Management
- Work closely with legal, compliance, and internal audit teams to ensure all technical processes and vendor engagements adhere to relevant industry regulations, internal policies, and data privacy standards (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, SOX, PCI DSS).
- Conduct remediation assessments for processes or system changes to identify potential compliance risks.
- Assist in the development and implementation of controls to ensure ongoing compliance.
Vendor Management & Contracting
- Participate in the evaluation of potential vendors, assessing their technical capabilities, security posture, and compliance frameworks.
- Review and analyze vendors to ensure alignment with compliance standards.
- Maintain a centralized repository of vendor information and contracts.
Documentation & Reporting
- Create comprehensive documentation, including business requirements documents (BRDs), functional specifications, process flows, and training materials.
- Develop and maintain reports on process performance, compliance adherence, and vendor metrics.
- Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders at various levels.
Project Support
- Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
- Provide support during system implementations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 1-4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technical environment.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Proven experience in process analysis, documentation, and optimization.
- Strong understanding of regulatory compliance frameworks (e.g., SOX, GDPR, HIPAA) and their application in a technical context.
- Experience with vendor management, contract review, and compliance standards.
- Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in using Google Workspace and ServiceNow.

Requirements
Education:
- High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
