Spectraforce Technologies is seeking a Business Analyst for a 3-month engagement with remote work options. The role focuses on writing complex SQL, validating data, and reporting across Oracle/SAS/Teradata environments. You will work with health plans, providers, and vendors, translating data into actionable insights while balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in writing complex SQL queries to extract and validate data from databases.
• Proficient in SQL queries with Oracle, SAS and/or Teradata for reporting.
• Strong MS Office Suite skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, SharePoint, Visio).
• Understanding of NCQA HEDIS quality measures and code value sets.
• Experience in data cleansing, ETL, reporting, and data mining.
• Familiar with HIX, EMR and EHR data collection.
• Strong interpersonal skills to support in partner relationships between health plan, provider and vendor communities.
• Self-learning mindset with troubleshooting and solutioning abilities.
• Ability to communicate complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Job Description

• Individual must demonstrate strong multi-tasking setting priorities based upon minimal direction including:
• Strong experience in writing of complex SQL queries to extract and validate the data from the database
• Proficient in creating, executing SQL queries in Oracle, SAS and/or Teradata or other reporting tools / languages for reporting purposes
• Strong proficiency with tools, language MS Office Suite: MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, MS SharePoint, MS Visio
• Understanding of NCQA HEDIS quality measures and code value sets.
• Experience in analyzing and data cleansing of raw data with strong working knowledge of programming, work with various applications of ETL, reporting, data mining.
• Familiar with HIX (Health Insurance Exchange), EMR (Electronic Medical Record), EHR (Electronic Health Record) types of data collection.
• Strong interpersonal skill set including ability to support in partner relationship between health plan & provider/vendor community.
• Demonstrate strong initiatives in self-learning with independent trouble shooting, identifying issues and solutioning skills.
• Ability to effectively communicate complex findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and contribute to shared goal.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate complex data into structured, easy-to-understand reports.
