Job summary

G2O is seeking a Business Analyst to partner with Technical, UX, Data, and Development leaders. You will translate strategic roadmaps into clear requirements, prioritize features, and align teams on deliverables.

You will lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and customer journey mapping to develop clear functional and system requirements for development teams. You’ll coordinate across teams, participate in sprint testing, support UAT, and help ensure requirements are implemented

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive experience in business analysis and IT systems.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, IT, or a related field.
• Experience in the financial sector is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies.

We are seeking a Business Analyst to work closely with our client’s teams, partnering with Technical, UX, Data, and Development leaders to turn complex business needs into effective digital solutions. As the Business Analyst you’ll help translate strategic roadmaps into clear requirements, prioritize features, and ensure teams stay aligned on what needs to be delivered. The ideal candidate will bring an understanding of the client’s business and industry to identify opportunities, anticipate risks, and help shape solutions that create meaningful business and customer impact.

You’ll lead requirements gathering, process analysis, and customer journey mapping while developing clear functional and system requirements for development teams. Throughout delivery, you’ll coordinate across teams, participate in sprint testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and help ensure requirements are successfully implemented.

What you'll do:

• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of business systems and processes.
• Expertly elicit, analyze, and document complex business needs and technical requirements from stakeholders across various lines of business.
• Define and design end-to-end customer journeys, ensuring best-in-class digital experience while maintaining strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Write user stories and elicit requirements from all stakeholders
• Analyze and optimize current state account origination workflows and systems to identify gaps and recommend best practices.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams (developers, architects) to ensure the technical design and implementation accurately reflects the business requirements.
• Lead and troubleshoot complex functional and integration issues within client platforms, facilitate timely resolution, and provide ongoing support to ensure system effectiveness and adoption.
• Lead the Sprint Testing, SIT and UAT effort.
• Collaborate with training teams or directly create user manuals, and instructional materials focused on the new account origination system for end-users and operational teams.

What you'll bring:

• Deep understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle for various client products and the associated regulatory and compliance requirements.
• Strong ability to analyze complex data, understand system logic, and leverage data modeling tools to define system architecture and reporting needs.
• Demonstrated success in leading, facilitating large group discussions, communicating effectively across all business and technical levels, and driving cross-functional consensus.
• Aptitude for identifying, analyzing, and resolving complex business and system challenges specific to digital customer journeys and back-office integration.
• Proficiency in tools relevant to business analysis and project management (e.g., Azure DevOps, JIRA, Confluence, Visio) and familiarity with database concepts (e.g., SQL).
• A solid understanding of Agile Scrum methodologies is required.
• A bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field, and 10+ years of progressive experience in business analysis and IT systems are typically required.
• Experience in the financial sector a plus
